Tungulending is a small guesthouse and café on the north coast of Iceland, housed in a former fish-freezing plant. Originally established to process fish and lumpfish roe, the building served local fishermen for decades before undergoing renovation.

While the structure had been modified and improved over the years, the decision was made to preserve its key architectural elements. To optimize space and facilitate the renovation, the roof was raised, and the floors on the first and second levels were refurbished.

The building enjoys panoramic views of Skjálfandi Bay and the North Atlantic, set amidst fascinating geological formations and the famous fossil-rich strata of the Tjörnes Peninsula.
